Familiarizing Yourself with the Interface

The main parts of Omber's user interface are the drawing area, the tools panel, the context panel, and the color bar.

The center of the screen is the drawing area where you make your drawings.
The tools panel is on the left of the screen. You can choose the tool you want to use for working on your art from here. Some important commands and menus are also listed there. When Omber is used from a cellphone, the tools panel may be shrunk to a single button to save screen space. Press the button to open the full list of tools.
At the top of the screen is the context panel. Depending on which tool you are using, you will see additional commands listed here.
The right of the screen is taken up by the color bar. You can change the current color from here.

Moving around your drawing

When working in Omber, you will often need to quickly move around to different parts of your drawing or to zoom in on sections to work on some fine details.

Using a mouse

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can quickly move around the screen by holding down the scroll wheel and then moving your mouse around the screen. You can also zoom in and out by spinning the scroll wheel.

On-screen controls

You can also move around your drawing by using the on-screen controls.
